Soon, the Opera Mini will be pre-loaded into “selected” Virgin Mobile USA phones. The deal has been locked down.

From April 14th the Opera Mini will be available as a free application download on select devices. The list at the moment including Slash, Arc, Shuttle, Super Slice and four others. This range will be confirmed soon.

For those with or looking to head to Virgin Mobile USA, prepaid customers have access via the VirginXL download storefront. Opera will be installed on some handsets through Virgin Mobile USA in the coming weeks.
