The Finnish phone maker Nokia decided to focus on Ovi Store rather than developing its media sharing site Ovi Share. According to Reuters, Nokia would halt investment in this service as part of a revamp of its services strategy.
But Nokia would keep the service up and running.
investors are right; Nokia shouldn’t be trying to replace popular services like Flickr and Facebook, but rather integrating with them like most other platforms are these days.
The world’s biggest cell phone maker opened the service to the public at the Mobile World Congress trade show in February 2008.
