Sporting a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus, 4GB of internal storage, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, A-GPS radio and 800 x 480 pixel touchscreen, the quad-band P835 smartphone by ASUS has been unveiled. With HSUPA 7.2Mbps downloading and the 528MHz Qualcomm 7201A processor this baby is worth checking out.

A master of many trades, the P835 doubles as a Wi-Fi Access Point for up to 10 devices and offers improved navigation and input via virtual keyboard modes and tracking ball. ASUS say the model will “raise the bar for mobile Web surfing and multimedia enjoyment” with a choice for URL and search query input via the 12-key, half-QWERTY and full-QWERTY virtual keyboard modes.
ASUS waited until after the Mobile World Congress to release the phone, designing it for “business-savvy professionals who appreciate a screen as big as their ambitions.” All “bold, modern and swanky”, the P835 employs a streamlined and enhanced iteration of ASUS’s exclusive Glide GUI. The P835 will provide visual enjoyment on the mobile platform like never before.
