The much-anticipated Palm Pre has now got a launch date and price, courtesy of an official Sprint announcement.  Pre buyers will be able to pick up the WebOS smartphone from June 6th, priced at $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and subject to a new, two-year agreement.

As well as Sprint’s own stores, the Pre will be available from Best Buy, Radio Shack and select Wal-Mart stores.  It’ll go on sale alongside the Touchstone inductive charging kit, priced at $69.99, the component parts of which – dock and Pre back-cover – can also be bought separately for $49.99 and $19.99 respectively.
