The grass is really greener on the other side of the fence (Apple) through the eyes of Palm or Motorola execs. I shared some terrible news about Motorola earlier today and now what was once my most favorite company – Palm, is on a one-way track to the land of doom. If there’s any truth to Engadget Mobile’s article, Palm is set to close down retail stores at the end of this month. Reports are coming in from all over wgere Palm reps are confirming store closure with the exception of its airport-based retail locations.

Well Palm, there’s not much more I can say to you. You sort of lost me when you released the Palm 680, but truly lost me at Centro. Good luck and Godspeed.

By the way, Bill Gates is retiring soon and he’s looking for a new job. It doesn’t hurt to get fresh blood pumping through the company.
