If you’re a fan of Pantech phones, you should be pleased to hear their latest, the Pantech Slate is, ahem, slated for release on AT&T. And you’ll be able to get the device by the end of this month.

The Slate is said to be the thinnest device that is equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, and we’ll certainly take their word for it. Specs include a 1.3 megapixel camera, Mobile Email, Bluetooth connectivity, instant messaging and more. The device will be available in royal blue and black colors.
You can get the Pantech Slate from AT&T at the end of October for $49.99, after a mail-in rebate and after signing a two-year contract.

is it just me or does that look like the other android phone?
This phone is great.. my mom loves it.. unfortunately… now she’s a texting fiend! lol
Nice looking phone. It is good to see HTC giving an alternative to the slider without all the money-sucking add-ons.
If all you want to do is have a mobile phone and send texts this is it.
If you want to impress people in line at the supermarket with your ability to watch Youtube videos (for the cost of like an addtional $30/month) get an Iphone or Gphone.
I have been wanting a new phone for a the longest time!I really really really REALLY want, i mean NEED the Pantech Slate. The price is acceptible considering the bluetooth and USB connectivity mobile e-mail, full QWERTY keyboard, great for texting!!!
