If there’s one thing Verizon’s, T-Mobile’s and everybody else’s 2007 performance announcements were missing, it’s a terribly bad pun. Thankfully, Parrot are here to right that wrong:
“To ‘parrot’ Frank Sinatra, it was a very good year” Ed Valdez, president and COO, Parrot
Joking aside, Parrot apparently have had their best year yet, with increased volumes of car kits sold and Best Buy and Circuit City both described as “tipping points”.
Ed Valdez is seemingly more shy about financial figures than he is about crap jokes: there are no actual numbers in the Parrot press release, just a coy reference to “sales gains”.
Nonetheless, the company is looking for further penetration of the US in 2008 to continue growth, focusing on stereo audio capable car kits and their new range of MMS-enabled digital photo frames.
