I have been waiting for a fuel cell that can keep my mobile phone charge continually without needing an AC outlet for a while. Toshiba has unveiled a new fuel call called the PF60A000001 Dynario that can be refilled on the go with methanol to charge mobile phones via a USB port. Sadly, it’s available in Japan only.

i.Tech unveiled another solar charging device for mobile phones today called the SolarCharger 906. The device can charge your mobile phone from the power of the sun and can fully charge its own internal battery in 22 hours of ideal sunlight or in 3 hours from USB.

Over in the UK the Android-powered Pulse goes on pre-paid PayG service. The handset sells for the equivalent of $292 here in America. It is cool to get a real full feature phone for pre-paid, devices on pre-paid service in America are often very lacking.

Nokia and Apple have tied up in a patent row over what Nokia claims is the infringement of ten of its mobile phone patents by Apple. I guess if you can’t beat them, you sue them into submission.
