HTC CEO Peter Chou has said that there will not be an Android version of the slick HD2 coming. Chou pointed out that HTC could make an Android version of the HD2, but it has to “take care of Windows mobile.”

The first commercial for the Blackberry Storm 2 have popped up. We had started to wonder what Verizon was going to do with the device with most of the focus lately being on the DROID. Naturally, Verizon takes a shot at AT&T along the way.
An update has been confirmed for the HTC Hero that will give the handset the latest version of Android — Android 2.0. the update will make the device compatible with that sweet new Google Maps Navigation app too. No time frame for the update has been announced.
