Things are bustling here on PhoneMag since there’s been a ton of product announcements and new information coming across our site. Let’s discuss what was most important this week, shall we?

First up, we learned about the Samsung Pixon, an 8-megapixel camera phone that is sure to bring out the aspiring photographer in anyone. We also learned about the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone. What was once called the Tube, features a touchscreen and is to feature the company’s “Comes With Music” service.

LG had a few product announcements this week as well with an 8-megapixel camera phone of their own in the LG Renoir. We also saw a few leaked photos of the LG KC780 slider with, you guessed it, 8-megapixels. Speaking of leaks, we also got a pretty good look at the HTC Shadow II this week.

XOHM WiMax from Sprint launched this week in Baltimore and many are touting its high connection speeds, if you have a good signal, that is. Plus, the website for the BlackBerry Storm launched for when the device is released on Vodafone.

In other BlackBerry news, the Pearl Flip 8220 had its moment in the sun with pricing information leaking out. We also learned why the BlackBerry Bold is delayed. Turns out, AT&T is holding up the launch process a bit with internal testing. It seems they want to avoid iPhone 3G-style connection issues with the hotly anticipated Bold.

The Motorola Rapture and Samsung Sway are set to hit Verizon soon, and we also found out that the Zune player would be coming to Windows Mobile sometime in the future, though we have no idea when.

Lastly, we saw a lot of concept phones this week from CEATEC, but nothing stood out so much as the phone that splits in half from DoCoMo and Fujitsu. Now, that’s just cool.
