There were quite a few news tidbits here on PhoneMag this week that are definitely worth mentioning again.

For instance, the LG Prada II was announced this week. We heard about it before, but now the company gave the high-end product an official launch. Speaking of launches, the Motorola Krave ZN4 was released on Verizon this week and the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 launched on T-Mobile.

In AT&T news, the carrier released the Quickfire this week, which is a simple slider focused primarily on messaging. The Pantech Slate is also set to be released on AT&T soon, and is said to be supposedly the thinnest device with a QWERTY keyboard. AT&T also introduced the USBConnect Quicksilver device this week, which is the latest in their LaptopConnect line.
The Nokia N79, code-named the Nokia RM-350, passed through the FCC this week with flying colors. And as if that weren’t enough, the device was even officially unboxed by Nokia, this time by the beach.
When it comes to the world of RIM, we first learned that the BlackBerry Storm would be coming to Rogers before the end of the year, however, that turned out to be completely false. In confirmed news, however, the BlackBerry Bold will be launching on AT&T on October 27th, to the delight of many.

Additionally, the Sony Ericsson W595 will be coming to Orange shortly and we learned what Firefox’s mobile browser, “Fennec,” looks like with some leaked screenshots. All in all, a pretty busy week here on PhoneMag.
