Detailed plans were discussed recently about the upcoming Ovi Store. Nokia will launch its application store along with carriers in the UK, Italy, Singapore, Germany, Australia, Spain, the USA, Russia and Ireland.

What seems evident is that Nokia will be having some sort of revenue sharing model with partner carriers. Therefore, the price of applications bought from stores will be added to the user’s mobile phone bill. Although much of the world may be looking at paying for applications via a credit card.
Many users are blocked from stores depending on whether or not their devices are locked. US carriers may need to look at the development of Ovi Store-enabled devices. The plans were detailed during the Forum Nokia Code Camp in Jakarta on March 11 with the Ovi Store is due in May.
