Postcard messaging app shoot it! hits iPhone

There are all sorts of uses for a camera phone from taking pics of the kids to shooting images of events like car accidents for documentation. You can also use the camera on some phones to send MMS messages.

Unfortunately, for iPhone users MMS messaging still isn’t enabled with AT&T. Until that happens a new app called shoot it has launched for the iPhone that allows users to take images with the iPhone camera and send them to people as real post cards.

Sure, it’s not as fast as MMS messaging, but at least you can share those camera phone snaps with others. The recipient addresses can be chosen from the contacts list on the iPhone. The post cards are available for 99 cents each to US addresses and the app for creating them is a free download. Users get one free postcard as well to try the offering.
