ProClip vehicle specific mount for iPhone launches

Having room to stash your phone in a handy spot inside your car really depends on how large a car you have. My wife has a SUV and I can always find a secure spot for my phone. However, my car is much smaller and if the cup holders have drinks in them, there is nowhere to put a phone.

ProClip USA has announced new vehicle specific mounts that will work with the iPhone from the original up to the new 3GS. The mounting system has two parts, the first is the vehicle specific clip available for a wide range of vehicles, and the second is the actual holder for the phone.

Options for the iPhone models for the holder include a padded holder with tilt and swivel, a padded tilting holder with a charging/USB cable, a holder with swivel and pass-through connections, and adjustable holder with swivel and pass-through. The complete two-part system with clip and mount costs about $70 depending on the holder model chosen.
