Qik has revealed their new beta client with support for 27 additional phones. When Qik makes an announcement they really pour it on thick. Perhaps the biggest news with this release is the support for the Palm OS and devices such as the 800w and Treo Pro.
Qik has also added the ability to utilize external flash memory for larger upload buffers. There is also enhanced support for the growing market of touchscreen handsets. It looks like Qik is trying hard to compete with other video streaming services. I personally use Qik multiple times a week if not everyday and I absolutely love it.
