The release date for three of Verizon’s highly anticipated summer devices have been outed. The devices will be dropping starting next month until July. The devices are all by LG. The devices are the LG VX9700 Dare, the VX8610 Decoy, and the VX8560, will will be a Chocolate flip. Here are the latest release dates. It is important to note that, as always, none of this is set in stone.

First, the VX9700 Dare. This device will be a variant of the LG PRADA that is making the rounds over in Europe. Unlike the PRADA, or KE850, it will not sport the PRADA branding. It replaces it in favor of the more traditional carrier and manufacturer branding. Also, it could be considered an updated version of the PRADA, as the Dare features a 3.2 megapixel camera as opposed the the 2 megapixel camera on the PRADA. It wil launch on July 4th.
Next is the VX8610, it is a slider phone. It is not your run of the mill slider though. It has a hidden feature. On the back of the device, there is a hidden Bluetooth headset. The headset charges when you plug the phone in for the night after a hard day hands free action. The Decoy will be launching on May 30th online, and June 9th in stores.

Next up is the VX8560, it will be a update to the Chocolate line, as the 8500 series model number would have you guess. It is a departure from the sliding form factor of the original Chocolate series. This member of the Chocolate family will be a flip phone. This device will be available on line on June 24th, and then in stores sometime in early July.

I think the question we are all waiting for is if it has WIFI or did they strip the main component off of it.
If I am going to cough up $300 for a phone, I need Wifi.
I dont understand why everyone is so crazy about Wifi. I have it on my i760, but have yet to use it. The 3G networks are much more convenient, and in most cases just as fast…
Well obviously, with wi-fi you wont need to pay the ridiculous rates Verizon charges to access the net on your phone.
Verizon doesn’t charge for internet, it uses minutes.
WiFi would be nice…
The stupidest thing about this LG C3 phone is that you CAN NOT access and dial your contacts from the front display using the wheel while you are wearing BlueTooth headset. How dumb is that?
