After being teased so relentlessly with the spy shots and rumors about this device, it seems that RIM is finally going to announce this device as WES. The event is taking place in Florida on May 12th, RIM is expected to announce the device the first day of the event. The BlackBerry 9000 is RIM’s answer to people demanding more media oriented features.

The BlackBerry 9000 has all of those features that they have ever wanted in a BlackBerry. There is an all new updated BlackBerry OS, with a revamped interface. No longer do the icons look like drawings in a comic book. Instead they are now wire framed with very slick animations The BlackBerry 9000 features WiFi, HSDPA, a full keyboard and the always delightful BlackBerry Internet Services.
