RIM will continue to support Nokia devices

Nokia will welcome BlackBerry Connect back to their devices, a Nokia exec said. Tom Furlong, head of Nokia’s messaging services, confirmed that RIM will continue to support the service.

“We are in the interim period of time when we have dropped support ourselves, and Blackberry (NSDQ: RIMM) is readying support for their service on Nokia devices,” he said.

Personally, I preferred using BlackBerry Connect in my Nokia E90 for messaging feature rather than other push-mail services which have came to Nokia.

So, it’s great to hear that BlackBerry service will comeback to the Nokia devices. Welcome back, RIM!
