Of all days for internal shots of a handset to release. With Apple’s big event this morning, it’s a wonder anything else got any attention at all. But the HTC Opal is worth mentioning.

We’ve been hearing a lot about HTC these days. From the Touch Diamond, to the Touch Pro to even the HTC Dream, the phone maker has been consistently in the spotlight. And now, it seems they’re looking to follow up their original HTC Touch with none other than the HTC Opal. How do we know this? Well by some leaked internal docs, of course.

The doc seems real enough to me:

But as always, take it with a grain of salt until we get confirmation. There’s also rumor that the Opal is to include TouchFLO 3D. However, as of July, it’s still lacking 3G and a better processor.
