An industrious person went over to the Palm website and found this little nugget. Looks like suspicions are confirmed. The Palm Treo 850 really will be the Treo Pro.

The site has since been taken down. It looked to be an internal site. But its brief up time was enough to reveal what we’ve all been hoping for out of the Treo Pro. Initial specs include:

• 3G GSM
• 320×320 touchscreen
• 3.5 mm headset jack
• Wi-Fi
• MicroSD expansion
• MicroUSB connector

This is all very good news for Palm enthusiasts. We’ll just have to sit and wait patiently on the edge of our seats until we can get our hands on one of these!
