One for the fashion- and budget-conscious UK readers among you: Sagem have launched the my511x, a classically handsome candybar-format cellphone on the Orange pre-pay network that, despite looking relatively attractive replete with its “mirror-like” black front-panel and flat buttons, is priced at just Ł49.99 ($98) with of course no contract.

Of course this isn’t the handset to buy if you want push-email, GPS and blazing HSDPA, but it does manage a 1.3-megapixel camera capable of stills and video, an MP3 player with shortcut keys, Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot that you’ll likely want to make use of since the 10mb of onboard memory won’t hold too much.
