Samsung announces the Tobi S3030 designed for pre-teens

With the mobile phone market working its way to younger and younger audiences phone companies have to take a step back and figure out how to better fit their needs.  Samsung has done so by announcing a new phone for pre-teens called the Tobi S3030.

It is easy to see that the color options of the Tobi S3030 are very bright and colorful. This handset is available in Sweet Pink, Loyal Blue, Bright Orange, Oasis Blue, Snow Silver and Apple Green.  If those colors were not enough, the backsides of the device are interchangeable allowing you to further customize your phone.

The handset is made out of “eco-friendly and non-toxic materials,” making it safe for your child and the environment.  This tri-band handset has a 1.9-inch 65k-color 176×144 pixels screen, media player and 1,3 megapixel camera. Bluetooth comes standard as with most devices, you can also expand the minimal 15MB of internal memory with the microSD card slot. The Tobi S3030 will hit Italy and the UK this month and later be released in other European markets. The price of this phone is still unknown at this time.
