Samsung Armani 2 Night Effect is designer yet lacks design

Worth Reading?

YesNo

There’s no doubt about it that anyone who bought the first Samsung Armani phone did so for the brand name alone. But round two is even worst than the first.

The latest pairing of Giorgio Emporio Armani and Samsung is the Night Effect, a phone that is meant to be high class and stylish and somehow manages to lack style and a designer flare. Funny how that happens.

But in all seriousness, this phone is quadband EDGE/3G, has Bluetooth, an FM radio and a 3.2 megapixel camera. For storage it has a disappointing 120MB, but there is a microSD slot to add more. I guess the real attraction here is the wrap around blue light that surrounds the phone. Neat, I guess. If this phone looks like a must have to you, it will be available starting in November in Europe with release dates to follow in South East Asia and the Middle East shortly thereafter.

It’s ‘Emporio Armani’ this time not Giorgio Armani as the last one
