One of the hottest Android phones that we can’t get here in the U.S. is the Samsung Galaxy otherwise known as the i7500. The Android device sports an AMOLED display that measures 3.2-inches and has a 320 x 480 resolution.

Other features of the slick handset include a 528MHz processor, 5MP camera, and 8GB of memory. The storage space can be expanded with microSD cards up to 32GB. Word is coming in today that the Galaxy may have finally cleared that pesky “customer experience process” which is really an accreditation process to be offered on the O2 network.
The handset is coming to the O2 network according to the networks stock management system. The phone is supposed to go on sale next week if all goes well. Previously the Galaxy was only available in Taiwan, so it hitting the O2 network is one-step closer to it getting to the States.

Im from the Netherlands and still waiting for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy. It will probably be available in a fourtnight. However the Dutch version will be white. But I think the Samsung will be the most appealing Android phone up till now (Amoled display, battery, etc).
I’m a webdesigner and love internet and it’s possibilities. And Android/Google will make the future different. Hopefully it will be a better place, but surely it will be fun.
Hope to receive my Galaxy soon. Then I will post my experiences here. Also hope to learn a lot here of the Samsung and Android.
Hope to meet other galaxy owners http://www.samsung-galaxy.com
