The Samsung Glyde for Verizon is no doubt a hot phone. It has all the features of very high priced offerings, and it’s roots are from the F700, a high end Vodafone exclusive across the pond. So when this phone is put in the same sentence as the word ‘free’, you can bet a few heads turn.

If this grainy screen shot of what appears to be some sort of upcoming promotion comes to fruition, then we could very well see some free Samsung Glydes going out the door at the local Best Buy. This is of course on a 2 year inking and most likely after a mail in rebate, but it is still a steep discount for what will be a very feature rich phone.

The Glyde will come with a 2 megapixel camera. Don’t kid yourself, they included auto focus. The screen comes in at a very wide resolution, at 240×432. It is 2.78 inches. That is some pretty awesome screen real estate right there. Just like it’s F700 cousin across the seas, it has a touch screen. It also features a side-sliding QWERTY to round out the spec sheet.
