I just got confirmation that Sammy’s new i900 will NOT run Windows Mobile. Instead, it will sport the same user interface as the F700v aka Croix. The i900 is essentially the anorexic sibling of the F700v due in part to the lack of slide out keyboard. Make sure to check out my exclusive review of the Vodafone Croix.     How disappointing. I’d really like to see a version of the F700 running Windows Mobile, the hardware has potential but the OS seems to be holding it back from smartphone-greatness.

  2. I think it’s the same case as the LG Prada phone where LG decided to use a proprietary OS, then realized hey lets use Windows Mobile on future devices such as the LG Vu / CU920. Only time will tell if Samsung will venture out…

    i’m sorry to say this but you’re wrong!check other websites for more info!also when 1 out of 10 is saying what you say and the rest say it will have windows mobile and show pictures of it and the real one and it’s true…can’t give the link search for yourself:)
