Sprint has announced that the Samsung instinct has become its best-selling EV-DO device ever in the first week of availability. At its sensible price of $129 the Samsung Instinct touchscreen phone is breaking records for the first week of sale in Sprint history. Retailers are even having a hard time keeping up with the high demand leading to shortages at some stores. Samsungs assures it “has increased efforts to deliver new supplies of the Instinct on a daily basis and manufacturing plants are operating at full capacity to keep up with demand”.

Samsung Instinct rocks in EV-DO Rev A and GPS as compare to iPhone, in both cases besting. Content and application wise, Sprint’s own wares are basically swapped in for Apple’s: Sprint Music Store, Navigation, TV, Visual Voicemail and a full HTML web browser—everything except a la carte music. Smart Sleek and cool design as well.
