Samsung Jet Gets 800MHz CPU and More





If Tim Allen were to buy a smartphone, he would definitely want the phone more power. I can hear Tim grunting like a silver back right now with the introduction of the Samsung Jet with its way fast processor and other features.

The phone has an 800Mhz processor inside along with a glut of other features like support for EDGE/GPRS networks and HSDPA up to 3.6Mbps. The screen of the phone is a 3.1-inch WVGA AMOLED. The camera is a 5-megapixel unit with dual LED flash, face detection, smile shot, panorama shot, blink detection and more.

The camera can also record video at 30 frames per second and supports geo tagging. Video formats supported include MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, DivX, and Xvid. Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi are integrated and storage is to 2GB of internal memory and up to 16GB removable with a microSD card slot. The battery offers 300 minutes of talk and 406 hours of standby on a 3G network.
