One of the cooler aspects of many Samsung’s phones is that they have the slick TouchWiz user interface. The interface is something that it proprietary to Samsung devices and lies over the top of the phone operating system.

Samsung announced today that its development kit for TouchWiz UIs is now available. The kit is called the Samsung Mobile Widget SDK and allows developers to build widgets for different phones across multiple platforms.

The SDK gives devs the tools they need to develop widgets for Samsung devices. The Samsung Mobile Innovator initiative focuses on developer education, developer tools, and application distribution and marketing. Devs can also get access 24/7 to the real-time virtual device lab.
