Sending postcards isn’t nearly as common a practice today now that we all have mobile phones with email and text messaging. We can pretty much keep in contact with the people we love anywhere we go. Blackberry users who want to send postcards can now use the Shoot It postcard app.

Shoot It became available for Blackberry users this week and is available as a download from the Blackberry App Store. Using the app people can take images and then create a personal message and have a real postcard mailed to anyone they want.

The app has been available on other platforms before and has just now hit the Blackberry. Pricing for the postcards is $1.25 for UK addresses, $1.50 for European addresses, and 99 cents for U.S. addresses.
