If you plan on purchasing the forthcoming Sidekick 2009, you will be delighted to know that it’s getting a 3.2-megapixel camera yielding a maximum resolution of 2038 by 1535, a flash and a new auto-focus mechanism along with support for geotagging.

Uploads to sites such as MySpace, Photobucket or Youtube are also supported.  Unfortunately, there’s no mentioning of Flickr so we’ll just have to wait and see.  As for video recording, it’s set for 15fps and might even get bumped to 40fps.

Keep in mind, the above info are still unconfirmed so nothing is 100% sure until the fat lady sings.
