I know many folks that never filled up the 8GB of storage that their original iPhone offered. I know I didn’t and I had everything on it I wanted. Hardcore music fans could fill up 8GB quickly I guess, but the average users probably won’t.

A screen shot form Rogers Wireless in Canada has surfaced that claims an 8GB iPhone 3GS is coming. That has raised speculation that a new 8GB iPhone 3GS could be coming to replace the iPhone 3G at $99 when 3G stocks run out.

The Rogers screen shots ask that stores run out of iPhone 3G units before using the 8GB 3GS models. If this is true, and it seems legit enough, that would mean that those other providers looking to get hands on the 3G outside the exclusive 3GS choke hold will be soon out of luck. I’d be all kinds of mad if I just bought the 3G at $99.
