The application was just released for iPhones. Although now, Skype is also available for the BlackBerry.

Officially, the Skype application for iPhone and iPod touch should be available through the App Store at no cost. The application will operate where the client will include free Skype-to-Skype calls and SkypeOut support over Wi-Fi only as well as interface integration and instant messaging to other users.
The good news for BlackBerry users is that a version for several models will be available in May. This official app will supposedly have better voice quality and lower latency. As for the iPhone version, it handles conference calling only as a participant, not an initiator and lacks support for things such as voicemail, file transfers and SMS so the transfer over to BlackBerry will be interesting to watch.
