Slew of new Verizon phones coming this year

New phones hitting the market are a good occasion for fans of mobile devices to be excited. According to a leakster, Verizon is set to get several new devices before the end of the year. Keep in mind that these new devices are rumors at this time.

That said, according to a tipster at PhoneArena Verizon will be getting the LG Chocolate Touch VX8575, Blackberry Storm 2, Nokia Shade, Nokia Twist, Palm Treo 800W, Motorola Entice, Samsung Rogue, Samsung U450, Samsung Omnia II and more.

The rumor list also has several new push to talk devices including the Motorola V860, Samsung Convoy, Casio Rock, and Casio Brigade. The Storm 2 is probably the most anticipated of the new devices and for Verizon’s sake, I hope it is better liked than the original Storm.

    the HTC Hero?

I was going to get the BlackBerry Storm 2, but if the HTC Hero comes out for Verizon…

I am waiting on the Omnia II. I’d prefer the Iphone, but the Verizon signal is far superior in my area. So, I’m stuck waiting…
