E-marketing firm SmartReply is making an effort to increase its presence on wireless devices. Through this, the company has acquired mobile-advertising specialist MSnap.

SmartReply distributes advertisements via voice messages, e-mail and text messages. Through MSnap’s website, with the developments of their business, the Company is seeking to create the largest U.S. mobile-messaging ad network through the acquisition. MSnap, founded in 2006, has received investments from Partech International and First Round Capital. The most powerful aspect of this combination of SmartReply’s technology and mSnap’s expansive network (having the ability to launch a mobile advertising program that delivers immediacy and responsiveness, and reaches millions).

SmartReply has focused on delivering mobile and voice messaging solutions for loyalty, credit, and promotional marketing; its clients include over half of the top 100 retail brands in the US and Canada since 2001. “We’re now able to bring to advertisers an immediately scalable mobile advertising network with the best technical platform, reinforced by industry expertise and an incredible team.
