Loading ...Sony Ericsson is pulling out all the stops with the Cyber-shot W61S. Starting off with its impressive 5.11-megapixel CMOS Sensor, yes the same Exmor sensor technology used in Sony’s professional Alpha DSLR camera. Other imaging features include Kaokime Lite, Smile Shutter Lite, Auto Focus, Auto Lens Cover, Anti-Shake, 3x Optical Zoom, 3cm Macro, ISO 1600 and LED flash.
The hardware specs for the phone is equally impressive, sporting a 2.8-inch LCD display capable of wide VGA display resolution of 480×800 pix (‘Reality MAX’ technology from Sony’s Bravia TV). There’s a microSD card slot accepting a max size of 2GB, TV-Out, Bluetooth, GPS, Music, Videos, EZ Navi, EZ FeliCa, and so forth.
The Cyber-shot W61S comes in three colors, spectrum pink, shadow black and prism white. The expected release date is April of this year. I hope to get my hands on this bad boy at Mobile World Congress! Make sure to check back for live hands on pics and videos for your viewing pleasure!

Hi, this phone is apsolutley GORGEOUS!! Its my birthday in 12 days and I’m looking for a new phone. As my one now is the Motorola KRZR K1. It has lots of scratches across the screen and it keeps freezing on me. I am in desperate need of a new phone and also I just apsolutley love this phone! When will this phone be released to the UK? I’m in Japan, and I got this phone for free, had to sign a contract with AU operator for a year (1000ien/month).
Unlike most of phones in Japan, the SE W61S dosn’t have english AT ALL! It’s japanese only, you can’t change it.ďż˝Now I have to learn japanese.
