As more and more people pay attention to environmental concerns, Sony Ericsson is jumping on board with a concept called GreenHeart. This handset uses a whole host of green tech and embodies what the company would like to bring to the market over the next few years.

At the moment, we have no idea what the GreenHeart would look like or even what sort of specs it would possess. For now, Sony Ericsson is merely shopping around to see if customers and partners would be interested and which ideas could be utilized first. Basically, it’s a priority issue at the moment.

Some of the ideas that GreenHeart would include are online user manuals, a “trickle” mode charger with 3.5mW, bioplastic and recycled plastic casings and more. What I don’t understand is why these ideas would even need to be shopped around? Many people want to do their part in helping the environment. Wouldn’t this be a no-brainer?
