Joint plans between Sweden and Japan for Sony Ericsson aims to see the 12MP flagship model available within months. The Sony Ericsson Idou has all the chances to be more popular the the Xperia X1.

This model looks to be one very funky handset available in the third quarter of 2009. The smartphone is not much bigger than the iPhone 3G. The phone will offer a 12.1-megapixel autofocus camera and VGA-resolution resistive touchscreen 3.5-inch 16:9 widescreen display.

Images of working prototypes have been spotted about the Internet. Very specific information through all aspects of the phone, carrier, price and the like are not as easy to come by. Might let the photos speak for themselves.
