Further details have been squeezed out regarding the Sony Ericsson ‘Paris’ P5, including an image of the phone which confirms it will support horizontal as well as landscape use, and more information about the overall spec of the handset. In a Q&A session, Michell Bak confirmed HSDPA, suggested the P5 measures around 10.5 x 4-5cm, with a manual lens cover for the 5-megapixel autofocus camera (that sadly lacks both an optical zoom and Xenon flash). He’s expecting P5 availability in late Q3 2008.

“Paris features W-LAN 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, 3G and USB 2.0 cable transfers. It has a built-in GPS and comes bundled with Google Maps pre-installed, and we’re quite sure that WayFinder 7.0 will also be pre-installed on this device. The default web browser in Paris is Opera Mobile 9.5, as on other UIQ 3.3 devices”Michell Bak, se-nse
se-nse.net are still teasing us like our first prom date over the “official product video” of the handset, which they’re apparently withholding out of SE love. Admirable sentiments, guys, though I’m sure it’s doing your visitor stats no end of good too! Such is the blog world, eh?

Sony Ericsson P series is designed for professional users and P5 is nice looking device. Features are really impressive as compare to any other competitive device.
If being a professional user means that your phome continually doesn’t work as was the case with my previous P990i, I will stick to being an amatuer.
Great looking product just hope it works.
