Having given us the photos, Phone Arena are now dolling out the video (you can see it after the cut) of Sony Ericsson’s latest Z555 clamshell, and it’s left me in two minds. First off, the design is pretty pleasing, with a relief diamond pattern and simple, clear keypad, but the 1.9-inch screen looks, frankly, too small for the handset.

Okay, so it’s a looker, and the gesture control that uses the Z555’s camera to silence alarms and dismiss calls is clever, but nothing about this handset particularly screams “buy me”. The higher-end models in Sony Ericsson’s range are still likely to get most of the attention.
