Pictures have surfaced of what looks like the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA. We believe it is safe to say that this is a concept model, not actually meant to be released. Sony has not yet made any comments on these photos.
Lets hope that this is not going to be the new Sony Ericsson XPERIA, it combines the X1’s huge touchscreen with the ROKR style keypad. Don’t get me wrong this device is not bad, its just now what we come to expect as a step forward from the X1. This model just appears to be very stiff to us, nothing like the X1 and its curved slide.
This phone concept in genreal certainly looks like a Sony Ericsson handset. With the direction Sony went with the X1, we see Sony creating an entire XPERIA line that does very well. The X1 was a very large step in the right direction; lets just hope this is not a step back.
