Sprint and Clearwire have been working together to roll WiMax service out across the country. The roll out has been very slow so far and only a few of the largest cities in the country have access to WiMax service at this point.

Sprint has now announced that it is adding new 4G mobile broadband routers to its line in preparation for the roll pout of 4G WiMax service to more cities this year. The router is made by CradlePoint, is called the Sprint Personal Hotspot PHS300S, and supports four Wi-Fi connected computers at once.
Those needing more Wi-Fi connections can opt for the MBR-1000 that supports up to 32 simultaneous Wi-Fi connections. The two routers are available now and you can get them for $159.99 if you want the PHS300S or $249.99 for the MBR1000.
