Sprint sat new sales records when the Pre debuted last weekend. The launch wasn’t on par with the epic launch of the iPhone, but neither Sprint nor Palm really expected massive lines. In some locations, there were lines of people waiting to get the Pre.

Sprint says that after the launch and the fanfare surrounding it that customers are now able to use the Pre and have spent time with the device on the Sprint 3G network. Sprint is bragging about its network post Pre launch and claims that customers and third parties are saying its network is performing at the best levels ever.
Sprint CEO Dan Hesse said, “Better network performance has been a major priority and a key part of the improvements we’ve made over the past year that have materially changed the customer experience with Sprint. Palm Pre is the coming out party for the new Sprint – the perfect device to show how far our networks have come.”
In other words, come back to Sprint our network doesn’t suck and we have a cool new phone you can have.

After 12 years of four lines and paying my bills on time with Sprint I just quit. Anyone who says their customer service or network is better is smoking something.
Ask yourself why people are leaving Sprint by the millions to go not just to ATT, but to Verizon as well, which has not Pre or iPhone.
Sprint is getting worse not better. It took me 30 minutes to get through on a rise in my bill by 20% mid contract, and when I did get through I was told the person who renewed my contract last year and promised me a 20% discount for two years “made a mistake” and it was only for a year and nothing could be done.
Sprint promised the discount because Verizon gives my spouse’s company employee a 25% discount. Classic BAIT and SWITCH.

if your on verizon and havent been on sprint the last year or so …..dont say anything bro….cuz the last time i checked jd powers and associates ranked sprints network #1 in a tie with verizon in the west region which includes 6 states and # 2 overall in the rest of the US….so think or check facts before you speak on there network….2nd…everyone has a problem with customer service for ANY provider…not just sprint buddy…..my mom is having issues with ATT customer srvc and my gd buddy has verizon and they contiusly mess up his monthly bill so dont gimme that crap about sprints custoemr srvc…no ones perfect….everyone ALWAYS stays in the past and sees what sprint did in the PAST….and not now…..ppl like you who dont know stuff and complain about everything and want perfection make me siick !
I must agree, Sprint has been faster than than ANYONE in the California, Texas, and Neveada regions I have visited. No one right now has the value that Sprint has at present. While I must say though, that working with all of the different networks, I would only consider Verizon as an alternate choice. AT&T is by far the slowest network ever.
