One early review of the HTC Touch Diamond from Sprint over at WSJ and the next thing you know, the rumor mill starts churning. Now, we’re getting word that Sprint will be releasing the Touch Diamond on September 14.
The smartphone is expected to cost $249.99 with a two-year contract after a $100 rebate. That’s not too bad, and this one does look promising. Even though the early review knocked the Diamond for its inability to conceal the less than lovely menus of Windows Mobile, it received praise for its innovated interface and animations.
It’ll be fun to see how this phone is received. With the Touch Pro right around the corner, as well, it may very well be a fight of the preferences. Would you rather have a QWERTY keyboard or a touch QWERTY? Decisions, decisions.

For me, it is definately the Touch Pro that I am holding out for. I really hate on-screen keyboards.

Definitely keyboard QWERTY for me!

I’m not really too bothered about the QWERTY, but once I found out the pro had MicroSD and TV out… that did it for me.
