Most mobile phone providers offer a way for customers to get to call a limited amount of numbers on or off the network free. For a long time AT&T has offered free mobile to mobile calls to anyone with AT&T, but didn’t let you call other numbers without charging you.

Sprint had its Everything plan for a while now that gives you unlimited minutes, texts, and data for one monthly rate. The mobile provider announced a new addition to that plan today called Freedom that allows users to call any mobile number on any mobile network without cost.
Sprint says that users who are already on the Everything plan have to do nothing to get the new service, those on other plans will need to upgrade. The Freedom plans also get 450 anytime minutes. I’m not sure what those are for, I assume mobile to landline calls. Freedom costs $70 per month.
