Palm have announced a ROM update for the Sprint-branded Treo 755p, taking the device’s firmware to v1.07. Although the file is a reasonable 18.4MB in size, it takes 45 minutes to install and apparently has very vague (and very broad) intentions:
“This software update is a tune-up that improves audio, stability, software quality and device usability”

However, users at Treo Central have reported that while the update adds some minor UI tweaks (such as the green sent/received arrows in the first screenshot), a modest performance hike and several ROM version changes, the software also removes Bluetooth Audio from the picklist and has issues with certain software versions.
General consensus is to do a full backup before you update.
