It has been a long, rumor filled wait for the CDMA BlackBerry Curve. The wait is finally over, with Verizon, and now Sprint getting the CDMA Curve. We had seen the rumor that the device would launch on May 7th. Unfortunately this date obviously fell through. It was not too far off though, as early this morning, the Curve showed up on Sprint’s web site.

It is available online now, but it is not in stores just yet. It will make it there soon no doubt, but just something to remember before you head down to your local Sprint store. The device will sell on Sprint for only $180 on a new two year contract, after rebates. Not a bad price at all for this device, which retails at $600 according to the website.
The CDMA BlackBerry Curve is a feature rich multimedia oriented BlackBerry. It has a 2 megapixel camera, MicroSD expansion, BlackBerry Internet services, a full QWERTY, and is compatible with Sprint TV. Sprint has been so kind as to not disable the GPS in this device, and it is of packing EV-DO.
