Just about everyone has a mobile phone today and most of those mobile phones have cameras built-in. That means that the average mobile phone user can take pictures at anytime, which is a good thing for those little moments in our daily lives that we want to remember.

Research firm InfoTrends has announced the results of a study it conducted that looked into what drivers users to take photos with their mobile phones. According to the study, half of those polled see a camera on their phone being a vital feature. A camera on the phone was second only to text messaging capability.
The survey also found that to get users to use their camera phone more frequently they want mobiles that offer the ability to capture photos faster, as well as the ability to edit, upload and print the photos with greater ease. The survey found that consumers are more likely to purchase a phone with more megapixels for the camera compared to a similar device with fewer megapixels.
