When it comes to smartphones, the RIM Blackberry line is among the most popular out there. Business types are especially fond of the Blackberry. Perhaps the best thing about the RIM smartphones is that just about every mobile carrier around has one or two to offer, unlike the iPhone.

CrackBerry spied the T-Mobile flavor of the 9700 with its slick track pad rather than the track ball Blackberry fans are used to. The handset has a leather backed battery door and was in a black color rather than the charcoal seen on some early models.
The good news is that the device is 3G enabled making it the first 3G Blackberry to debut on the T-Mobile network. If you feel the need to get one, just be sure T-Mobile has 3G in your area. The network leaves a lot to be desired in more rural areas.
