The Washington Post reports that T-Mobile CTO Cole Brodman has confirmed in an interview that T-Mobile will be launching its second Android phone in the next few weeks. The first Android-powered mobile phone to hit the market was the T-Mobile G1.

T-Mobile is the fourth largest network in America and has bet big on Android power for its line of smartphones. T-mobile has confirmed that it has moved 1 million G1 handsets since the device launched.
Brodman also confirmed that the next Android device from T-mobile would run the cupcake version of the Android OS that is being rolled out to G1 owners now. Cupcake fixes some of the early teething issues the G1 suffered and adds new functionality.
